Welcome. Thank you for your interest in the Marco Island Woman’s Club. We are a civic-minded organization with a long, proud history of serving the community and an active social network for the women of Marco Island. We meet the first Wednesday of the month, October through May, at 11:30 a.m. at the Marco Island Yacht Club, 1400 North Collier Blvd. For the latest Club news and meeting information, check out our monthly Newsletter ”HERE”.
The Marco Island Woman's Club was chartered in 1966 by a group of 16 friends to support the Island’s people and various non-profit groups. Over the years, the Club has been instrumental in the founding of the Marco Island Public Library; championing the need for and financially supporting the realization of the Marco Healthcare Center; initiating both the beautification movement on Marco Island and the original youth center, which grew into the present-day YMCA.
Today the Club takes great pride in its many accomplishments which are financed by our members annual fund-raising efforts and are detailed in the Club’s history archive .
The Club continues to give others by:
- providing educational scholarships to Island high school students through the Marco Island Woman’s Club Foundation;
- raising and donating funds to organizations that directly support the Club’s strong interest in education; and,
- providing funds to local civic, healthcare and social service organizations.
